Dr. Shanell Leggins a cofounder of Global Uni Consult brings over 25 years of experience in education and 19+ years as a counselor, with experience in public, private, domestic, and international settings. She holds an EdD in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Educational Psychology, an MA in Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services Credential, a BA in Sociology with a minor in Psychology, and a College Counseling Certificate.

James Russell

James Russell, a co-founder of Global Uni Consult, has an extensive background in education that spans over two decades and multiple continents. Originally from Toronto, Canada, James has worked as an IB Diploma Programme (IB) instructor, high school counselor, and university counselor in both domestic and international settings.

Toronto District School Board 2000: Began his career in education, gaining valuable experience in the public school system.
International School in Hong Kong: Transitioned to an international setting, where he expanded his expertise in global education.
Dubai and Cyprus: Worked within the IBDP program, teaching Theory of Knowledge and English Literature, while also pursuing a Master’s Degree in High School Counseling from Queen’s University.
Saudi Arabia and Thailand: began working with students in Saudi Arabia and currently Thailand helping students navigating the challenging college application process.
